Which Is Best?
Soneva Fushi is the ultimate luxury resort destination and books out months in advance, so you better plan ahead if you want to stay there. The Robinson Crusoe style rooms are ideal for couples.
Soneva a Fushi provides incredible architectural design with light & airy rooms that all have their own outdoor space and view. Some of the bedrooms range from one bedroom to nine bedrooms and the largest bedroom has slides, pools, spas and gyms. Our favorite is the pool bathroom with an amazing garden feel.Sunsets are amazing at Soneva Fushi, but sunrise-facing villas have uninterrupted ocean views.
Soneva Jani is much, much smaller than its neighbour, with just 24 villas. Each villa contains one- to four-bedrooms and is connected by a wooden walkway that leads across the lagoon to the main island. The rooms are incredibleMost people who live in Florida have their own pool with a retractable roof, so you can lie back and watch the stars – I love this!
Arriving at the resort and walking on sand through corridors straight to your air-con room – where you can unpack and enjoy a huge bed – is the ultimate in luxury. Wearing heels isn’t an option because it’s so hard to pull yourself up from all fours back onto your feet. Leaving them by the door means you don’Although it would be great if you could wear your heels and take the golf buggy, the complimentary chauffeur service is only for guests arriving in their cars. For those who can’t wear heels, cycling and walking come second nature on this island
You’ll find it difficult to choose between the two resorts, because both Soneva Kiri and Soneva Fushi prioritize sustainability. Whether or not you stay at both (though this is highly recommended), one of the resorts will likely be a good fit for you. The Jani resort runs on solar energy and produces its own drinking water.
Soneva Fushi has nine restaurants but it is well worth the cost if honeymooners want a romantic supper – our private sandbank in the middle of the ocean is perfect for this!.
Soneva Fushi offers a wide range of breakfast items down by the beach, so you can have anything from eggs to waffles. There are also plenty of meat, cheese and fruit options too.
Forget about the lack of options at Jani, because it’s the only place you can dine at so Starstruck. This is the Maldives’ first ov, which means your views are likely to be stellar no matter where you are seated, The restaurant also has a telescope you can use to take in the scenery. Alternately, head to “Gathering Bar” for cocktails and appetizers at sunset.
In both resorts, there is a “So Guilty” chocolate and ice cream room that provides unlimited free chocolates, truffles, ice creams and sorbets.
Mr & Mrs. Friday will be present at both resorts to cater to your every need, from snorkeling to stargazing
The Sonva Fushi Six Senses spa, open-air cinema and Jani cruises are really something special. You can go snorkelling or scuba diving in the waters around Jani too, for all your usual sporting activities. The sunset cruises are not to be missed. There is also an underwater cinema, Cinema Paradiso at Jani
Soneva Fushi is larger and more to do, with places to eat and many different experiences. It is usually cheaper than Soneva Jani and it offers the same level of luxury as Soneva Jani. One downside of Soneva Fushi is that their rooms do not have retractable roofs or slides. it’s probably not worth doing Fushi for 2 nights, but if you can split your stay between both resorts I think you’ll have much more fun.
They’re easy to transfer styles from one to another in a lovely boat. It’s best to go for the ones with the slides into the ocean like Soneva Jani. Not all rooms have these, so please do remember this when booking for your next holiday,The resorts are both amazing and you won’t regret which one you pick. Either way, you will be blessed with an incredibly memorable holiday experience.
