Start digging into the earth and environmental sciences master鈥檚 program at Murray State, and you鈥檒l find a concentration in archaeology. When you choose to follow this concentration, you鈥檒l learn more about the relationship between human culture and the natural environment. Specifically, you鈥檒l gain an understanding of the methods and principles of archaeological research from an interdisciplinary, scientific perspective. Plus, as an archaeology student, you will get opportunities to conduct research and take part in applied laboratory and field-based research projects.

There are plenty of ways to get involved with the department of earth and environmental sciences, ranging from the U.S. Geological Survey and local/regional partner organizations to GeoClub and 暗网禁区app's chapters of the American Institute of Professional Geologists (AIPG) and the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS). And that's only the beginning.
